We had our reception here last Saturday and I must say great,beautiful and elegant place. We worked with Ryan and he is absolutely awesome. Plus the pricing is very affordable I recommend anyone to go here for any sort of event. Great ppl very friendly and awesome customer service. Thank you summit event hall
The Summit Events Hall was always part of my childhood growing up in Sioux Falls back when it was the KC hall, and it was really great to have our event in such a nostalgic and historic setting. I absolutely recommend the event space itself as well as the upstairs apartment to anyone living in or visiting Sioux Falls.
Ryan and Jane were great to work with, we planned the event from out of town and Ryan answered all of our questions and came in during the week before the event to meet us and make sure we were ready to go. They also gave us great advice as to how to set up the room the best way and all of our guests commented on how friendly and helpful they were. Plus they worked really well with our caterers and the live band we that played (Crabgrass Crew) had a fantastic time.

Got married here 10/21. The venue is beautiful. It was big enough that we fit just over 110 guests and had space for a dance floor. Everyone loved the venue, and commented on how beautiful it was. We really didn't even do much decorating, because they provided lights and a backdrop they set up for us (cost extra, definitely worth it) they also have an apartment upstairs you can rent out, which I highly recommend. I was wearing a 20 pound wedding dress, and it was very nice at the end of the night to go to my room upstairs and change, and go down to help clean up and say goodbye to everyone while not weighed down by my dress. Ryan was there, and also helped us put tables away at the end of the night, and was awesome about answering any questions we had. I loved everything about this place. If you are looking for something historical and beautiful, Summit Events Hall is what you need for sure.
My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Summit Events hall, with about 90 people, and some friends of ours stayed in the upstairs apartment. Everything was gorgeous! The apartment was huge and had everything they needed, including an awesome balcony and huge bathtub.
We held our son's wedding reception last summer. Ryan was great to work with and the historical venue was perfect for some unique photos. We had approximately 210 guests and had a perfect evening. Thank you Ryan for sharing this memorable evening with our family.
