The previous residents of our unit had, at least one, pet who's urine is still extremely noticeable in multiple areas of the apartment. Management claims that they have done all they can short of replacing the carpet and "don't just replace the carpet whenever." During a conversation with the regional manager (who was on site at the time), I was told that his staff told him they don't smell anything and that he has to trust their word; he declined a personal visit to our apartment.
Our first week there, a man attempted to kick down our door to confront his girlfriend's husband and her, then realized he had the wrong apartment and did the same next door. Then went to the parking lot and slit his wrists in a gesture and wiped blood across everyone's car and died (My wife, not maintenance, cleaned it up before the all the kids came home on the buses)
Also, there is a lack of 'campus' maintenance. Rocks, screws/nails, broken furniture, cigarettes, and garbage liter the parking lot.
Upon moving in, we immediately noticed we'd be needing to do a deep clean (I should add that neither my wife or I are over-the-top clean freaks by any means). Every room needed to be cleaned but the bathrooms were the worst. We were even able to round up a box full of the previous renter's belongings. The on-site manager said that everyone's perception of clean is different and that their standards of clean are likely different than ours.
Horrible place to live. So many loud disrespectful kids who ring your doorbell and and harass you when you come home from work. Nasty parking lot and management is as nosy as a parole officer and dealt with three inspections in two months. They towed my car to the impound lot when I was out of town for a week because I never got a notice they were cleaning the lots which was the final straw (theyre way of leaving a notice is sticking a piece of paper in your door in the wendy breeze way for the wind to take or one of the kids to take) We ended our lease early and the manager said no penalty if we found people to take over our lease immedietly which we did but instead of putting them in our unit where we lived they (including another new manager during the process)put the renters in a completely different apartment instead of our old one and billed us the final four months of rent which we are trying to straighten out in small claims court. You guys are out your minds billing me four thousand dollars which is understandable if us leaving early left a place vacant and lost you money but we immedietly got new renters you guys didnt lose a dime but still sent us a bill LOL, shady much? stay far away from this apartment complex.
This place of living is just no gpod we need better neighbor's kids out here just dont know how to respect others and it has poor management rocks , garbage, just lile to see better
Tenements (also called tenement houses) are urban dwellings occupied by impoverished families. They are apartment houses that barely meet or fail to meet the minimum standards of safety, sanitation, and comfort.
My wife and I are a young couple, in our twenties, currently live at this location. We give others respect and strive to extend grace at all times. I am writing this review after our multiple attempts to resolve our claims with management and even regional management have been ignored, avoided, and even denied.
The fact management never repaired the previous documented damage from prior tenet by the time we moved out a year later... well, that was the least surprising thing.
To be fair, this a year or two ago and they switched up management, but our previous neighbors later mentioned it didn't help much.
Currently living here, thank god my lease is almost up. Worst place to ever live at, kids have no respect. Drawing on my car with crayons, leaving they're bikes against my car which I barely bought brand new 2 months ago, not to mention kids throwing Damn rocks at my other car which broke my windshield. Told management about it and they're response was "we can't do anything about it" how about removing all the rocks and making the parents watch they're kids? I swear kids come out running out from nowhere while I'm pulling up or reversing causing me to slam on my brakes. It was a ok place at first when I moved in but now its just starting to turn into a chaos.
Would I recommend this property to anyone who has other options? No.
The roving bands of unsupervised children were annoying. The poor random unfed kids coming to the door asking for food was sad.
