I appreciated Alan's quickness in coming to fix our furnace. We were relieved when he was able to come early to fix the furnace. He got us into the right price point on our new furnace and air conditioner. James and Travis did a great job on the installation and were very polite, clean and quiet. Overall excellent service. Brittany did a great job scheduling and handling the paperwork as well.
I gave Golden Rule a one-star rating because I had purchased the monthly service plan as a peace of mind gesture. The one time I called and needed them they told me that all of their repair workers were out of town for a conference the rest of the week and would not be able to work on my unit until the following week. I was disgusted that they would CHOOSE to have all of their repair professionals out of town at the same time. Because of my monthly fee, I felt obligated to use them, but I needed to go with another company that was able to help me the next day. After several phone calls Golden Rule apologized and canceled my monthly fee and refunded my previous month's fees (thank you Golden Rule). They have recently called and let me know that it is no longer their policy to send all their service men out of town at the same time. They claim they always have someone on call, able to repair systems. They are trying to "make it right" with me so I will take down my one-star rating. While I am sure they have learned and changed their policies, I feel that my interaction with Golden Rule still deserves a one-star rating because of the situation they were willing to put their subscribing customers in.
Five stars for Golden Rule Service all the way. I'm new to town and their service man taught me so much about our plumbing system and the area. He didn't rush through the job and took time to make sure things were fixed right. I was also impressed with how quickly they responded to my call at almost midnight on a Saturday for a burst water pipe flooding the basement. Stop looking for a contractor and choose these guys. You won't regret it.
Alan has helped repair many things at my house within the recent months. It all began during house call for a broken toilet. Since then he has installed a new water heater/water softener/water filter/multiple toilet guts/furnace gadgets/etc. He is thorough and very patient with all the questions that are asked with each visit. He explains things in a very easy to understand manner and is truly passionate about water safety. Thanks Alan for taking great care of me!
Alan is the most professional person I've ever had in my home. He was early to the appointment and worked very efficiently to get our hot water heater back up and running quickly.
