Kids love it, and you can rent event rooms. Keep in mind that all food, beverages, cake, all of it, must be purchased through the aquatic center's on-site food vendor. A typical party there will cost about $150, plus guest admission.
I enjoy it very much but the bathrooms on Saturdays get so wet and not cleaned up often. We decided to go during the week it is great for everyone and I love the lap pool I have been waiting for one for a long time to enjoy year round. The people are very nice and the lifeguards are doing a great job!
I've seen other reviews mentioning the bathroom/shower situation. There wasn't much space allocated for showers and dressing rooms, and subsequently they can get a bit hectic on Saturdays, so plan ahead. However, they are equipped with all the stuff you expect, showers with soap, swimsuit quick dryers, lockers, bring your own padlock.
Since I only live a few blocks away, I keep a membership for myself and my daughter, well worth it. Sometimes I just pop in for a quick 20 min swim.
So the facility is nice and all but the lifeguards are definitely not exactly nice to the kids. I get that you need to be very consistent when safety comes into play but the way they would talk to kids was nothing but rude. Not to mention you have to pay the entrance fee even if you are just there to watch your kids. My plan was to buy a yearly pass but there's no way I would now
I give it 5 stars just because of diving boards, really springy!
Fun place. Took my 18 month old for the first time over the weekend and she loved it. Wish they would allow floaties, especially as she gets older. When we checked in at the front desk, they didn't give us any direction or ask if we had been there before so I was thankful we went with a couple people who had been there. It is a great alternative to cooler days though, so I am still glad we have it.
I think we found out about everything we did wrong the entire time swimming. I suggest signage indicating which way you can use the pad station.
Overall it was a nice time and the kids enjoyed it. I just felt very unwelcome as a consumer and no one said bye as we left. Again they were all concerned about talking with each other than my family. Neon wearing shirt team members thought they were top dogs for sure.
Very nice facility and could be fun. If customer service was better. Life guards had grouchy faces and looked more concerned with the social life of the aquatics center staff than with guests of the pool.
