This is a lovely place when events, such as movie screenings, take place. During this time, the park is safe. The park is ruled by roving gangs of hostile geese during most daytime hours, and should be entered only at one's own risk. At night, it's best to avoid this place, as it's located in one of the more dangerous little enclaves of the city.

But don't let that deter you. This park is beautiful. Historical time capsule on site. Sundial (just in case you feel the need to keep your phone in your pocket). Many seats by the river. Mini rapids to give you that awesome flowing water sound.
Good place to walk. Public restroom and sometime there is a FREE movie night there
The only down side....It's now the temporary bus stop so you get asked "got a smoke I can bum" 2-3 times in a matter of minutes.
