Have visited a number of times over the years! Always pretty no matter what time of the year. Just visited at night during Christmas time, and other than the traffic being bumper to bumper, the lights and everything to see was very pretty...just make sure your gas tank isn't close to E. :)
Beautiful area. A great way to spend the day/evening whether you're a local or just visiting. Especially when they have the Christmas lights set up and light the Falls. If your looking for a fun photography night out or are just looking to enjoy a good walk through the lights with the sights and sounds of falling water surrounding you, don't miss out on Falls Park. Great any time of year and conveniently located to the restaurants and lodging accommodations of downtown.
Very nice light display throughout the whole park. Busy place. Really enjoyed the experience and walking about. Good job. Thank you city employees for the outstanding work and effort to transform the park into a beautiful night display.
The falls themselves are super trashy (there's literally trash in the water). But the area is super nice! Fun to walk around, public restrooms, the falls are lit up in the evening. Over the Christmas holiday season, everything is lit up with Christmas lights. Fun for a date, with friends, or bringing the kids!
I visited Falls Park for the first time a few weeks ago. It is so beautiful! The flowing waters is so peaceful and serene. It was rather chilly when I visited, but it was so beautiful I hardly noticed the chill. I very much look forward to revisiting in the spring and summer.
