Check-in was good. Bed and breakfast we're good. Bathroom was clean. Main room area is what takes this rating down. Floor was not vacuumed as it had food crumbs on it. Dresser drawer had empty Trojan condom boxes left in it. Also could use more electrical outlets.
I will never ever stay here again. I found a used travel toothbrush in my bed and large usb charger after I slept in the bed and pulled the sheets back. I checked in at about 3 am and by 9 am the room service was knocking on the door repeatedly!! Check out isn't until at least 11 am I think . They didn't stop knocking until I had to yell quite loudly i was still sleeping. I stayed the first wknd in September, I since then, have called MULTIPLE times to report my very unfavorable stay only to have an excuse told to me why the manager was never available, or if she did answer she would tell me she had to get back to me in a week. This went on and on for over a month, so I contacted corporate to file a complaint and NOTHING has ever come of it. No call backs! No refunds! When I called once the front desk said " I don't understand the problem here, what do you want? I replied , I want a fill refund and to speak to a manager , She says, but I did give you the military discount " My best friend who spent a decade serving our country with multiple deployelments was staying with me that night and she still paid 80 dollars for the room that night . Thank you for the discount Super8, but isn't that part of your job anyways? So , with that being said, I hope someone reads this that is in the corporate office. I don't even want to give one star. Very , VERY unprofessional customer service.
We were stayed there for a night. I was eager to get a hot bath. Not so much luke warm at best. So my fiance went to shave at the bathroom sink. Went to turn the hot water on. Nope no water unless u turn it on from under the sink. But u have to shut it back off so the hot water doesn't run constantly. I'm a little unhappy with the breakfast telling people they can't enjoy their breakfast back in their rooms that they paid for. I would have rather spent an extra 100.00 on a better room than what they have. Shower curtain had black spots at the bottom. Not good. Very unhappy with my stay. I understand they were going through a remodel but if you have rooms for rent you should make sure the ones u rent are up to par. #dontstayatsuper8
Night check in was good, front desk was helpfull, morning was another story , I don't like to eat in front of people , so the front desk lady started to reveal my personal information in public stating I'm not allowed to eat in my room , it's open and eaten on the way up , never had an issue in the other 60+ super 8s iv stayed at but next time I'm in Souix Falls SD I'll choose wiser next time.
It's a bed. Convenient to the Premier Center. Serious lack of outlets in the room, we had to unplug all the lights to charge our phones. We noticed about midnight that the in wall air conditioner had what appears to be mold on it.
