So I recently went to this hotel. During my stay I witnessed a house keeper get fired for stealing from out room also another front desk worker was letting only her (family and friends) swim after the pool closes. QUOTE: I CAN DO THAT I WORK HERE. Simply asked if I could join and was completely disrespected by HANNAH. Supposedly the name she gave me I asked to write a complaint and was turned down. While another worker heavy set male approached and started to threaten me that if I don't leave I would be kicked out. I was very respectful in my answers with a smile on my face. I asked for information only to write the complaint. But was cussed out and turned down nobody I could go to. I tried to inform the morning workers but they were no help either. I feel they hire anyone. Every worker was impolite and judgemental. I couldn't go outside and smoke a cigarette without a worker pretending to do something by the door but is watching like we are doing something wrong. I never got to make a complaint but I would never go back and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
Huge turn offs were the street walkers hanging out in the parking lot and the vials of God knows what on the grounds behind where the trucks park. Would not stay there again. If you need Ramada, go to the one about 10 minutes away with the casino, it's 100x cleaner and less sketchy.
Not great. We stayed here out of necessity after coming home to fumes. There were insect husks clinging to the box spring cover when I checked for bed bugs. The sides of mattresses and springs both had black dots that indicate bed bugs. The pipes in the building are quite loud, the beds were VERY stiff, the bathroom light took a few seconds to kick on (!!), and the heater rattled like crazy. Not much rest to be had here.
Price was great. Room was fairly large and decently updated. Staff was friendly. No real complaints.
Not lying when I say I was very uncomfortable walking in and out of the hotel. Staff was nice, friendly and accommodating. Staircase and hallways reek of cigarette smoke, to the point of being nauseating if you aren't a smoker.
I can honestly say I am not very impressed with this hotel for the amount of money that was spent. The positives, the room was big and clean and the breakfast was decent and kept being refilled. The cons, definately the overnight staff member, she was rude to the children and not very helpful. For a sofa bed not to have sheets on it already seems a little weird and then when requested along with blankets to get the response "we don't have anymore" seems a little absurd. To say I will never frequent another Ramada due to this is a understatement. It makes me question how the reviews they've gotten have been decent. Maybe an off day but still don't see an excuse worthy of this behavior.
