We got a great price through hotwire. Brought the dog with, which is 25 dollars extra but well worth it. The pool is nice and the on site restaurant and bar are accommodating. We've stayed here in the past and will stay again. The front desk staff is always helpful and courteous.
We had a good hotel experience, the accommodations were perfectly good, the restaurant was very good. Would recommend. The only complaint I might have is that the check out time was a little early at 11 a.m., but they were willing to accommodate us for a 1 p.m. check out time (but our room did auto lock us out at 11, so we had to go to the front desk to fix our key card). There was also a concert that was going on in the event space which was in the hotel, and we could hear it all the way on the 9th floor on the other side of the building, I can't imagine how loud it would have been if we were closer. Overall, though, we were satisfied.
Came in from out of town New year's and got in at 5:30 am (4/31) had reservations for 31st - 1st. One guy was trying to check us in early but some crabby manager was like "no to bad so sad they are early charge them $60.00 for 1/3 of the time..We ended up getting charged over $60.00 after tax for 5 hours of sleep. Completely bogus. And we are members... Everytime we come to Sioux Falls we stay here however after this visit we will no longer stay here in the future. The staff is super rude, my key card stopped working and I pretty much got yelled at for keeping it next to my cell phone like " are you stupid? " Kind of attitude.... Yea I accidentally had the 2 together and it got wiped....big deal! Just give me a new one without the attitude. I am completely and utterly disappointed with this experience definitely not coming back.
Hotel was okay.. service sucks! I have literally told the front desk 4 time our heat is not working in our room they said the would send a maintenance up and it's the next working still no one came to our room. The whole night we were cold and uncomfortable with the heat on 80°. Mind you it's the end of Nov. Will not stay here again a complete was of my money. Pricey hotel no heat... I do not recommend better hotels around with better prices.. the staff was rude too.
Just want to say that the Sunday brunch buffet here is CONSISTENTLY AWESOME. the food is amazing and the wait staff exceptional. Omelet bar and carving station are included. Beverage is included in the price of your meal. they offer breakfast and lunch options. they've got it all.I'm a local and this is among my favorite brunch in Sioux Falls.
