I had a CONFIRMED reservation on-line...you declined BOTH of my (very good credit) cards at the Airport at 10:30 PM. So, I walked down the hall to Hertz®...and was INSTANTLY accepted, got a car, and went on my way. I will never do business with Avis/Budget again.
First problem I had was they told me the car had no known damage to it and then upon seeing the car there was a highly visible large scratch on one of the doors. Had to go back in to the counter, but couldn't find the person because they were outside smoking. Finally got a lady to track the agent down and they noted the damage on the car. I returned the car in the same condition as received and then 2 weeks later I received a letter stating that they it was necessary to charge me $50 for a windshield chip repair. I truly believe there was not a chip in the windshield and sure I would notice it, but how do you contest something like this when I am 650 miles away. Wouldn't recommend. Dishonest.
Had a reservation through Costco. They insisted on adding a fuel charge to the bill which could be taken off only when I showed a receipt for gas. (Too busy to check the gauge, I guess.) Sent me out to a car that had clear damage on two spots. Had to wait for someone to walk out and record the damage on a form (the form they gave me when I got the keys said car had been inspected and there was not damage.) Lucky me, I got 45 miles down the highway and a tire started going flat. Called roadside assistance but all they did was put on the spare. So my choice was to drive back and get a new car or push on and get it repaired on the way (was told that cost would be deducted from bill). I did get it plugged and was on my way. When I returned the car on a Sunday, not on would the woman at the counter not deduct the cost of repair, they had added a $50 "repair" cost to the bill that she would not remove. Tried to call the manager for two days but his voice mail isn't even set up. Scam? Sham? Not sure what but I would use a more reputable company if I was renting a car in Sioux Falls again.

I have never posted a review for anything but the help i got from Micah was priceless. After a week of being on the road i had a few complications ended up in Sioux falls,sd and when no other car rental in town would lift a eye brow to assist me Micah went beyond expectations to help me. This person is why i will go out of my way to help someone else down the road.
