Have always had a great experience, especially when dealing with rental agent Ashley. She is quick, efficient and a delight to speak with.
I did however get the claim dropped from Alamo because they said my business was more important than a couple hundred dollar windshield. At least that part of the company knows how to treat customers because Ashley definitely does not.
My boss rented a car from this location. I have had a car from here on several different occasions and this by far was the worst. The car that they gave me had multiple rock chips in the window. I went back in to have them noted. Apparently they didn't note them all. I received a letter in the mail saying that I was responsible for the replacement windshield. This is even after I spoke with a "manager" from this location this past Saturday and nothing was said to me about it. I called the location when I received the letter yesterday and they lady that i rented it from (Ashley) could not have been more rude about the situation. She stated that when I returned the car that it had a huge rock chip that had splintered out right in the corner of the drivers side of the windshield. Now I am a very observant driver and I would have noticed this. Just the worst experience that I have ever had. I could't believe how unfriendly that Ashley was when I called in yesterday and then refused to let me speak to a manager. She stated that she would give a message to the manager but I still haven't heard anything. Guessing that she "forgot" to give the message. My husband even took the car back before I left for my trip and asked for another car so that this whole thing could have been avoided. Ashley stated that they did not have any cars at the moment and that other people were waiting for cars. Why would you rent a car with an unsafe windshield to someone?
I got my car in Sioux Falls SD. I booked a full size but they upgraded me to a premium since I was dropping in Minneapolis, MN. The agent in Sioux Falls was probably one of the best rental agents I have ever come across. The care was a very nice Audi that drove great!
I've rented cars from Alamo on a number of occasions and have always had excellent customer service! They are friendly, fast and efficient! Their prices are usually the best and they have the least amount of red tape needed in order to rent a car! I LOVE Alamo!!!!
