Driving through Sioux Falls around 8p and we needed to grab some dinner to sustain us for several more hours of driving. Being from California we are pretty particular about Mexican food, and this place did not disappoint. The customer service was excellent, the food was tasty and fairly quickly prepared. The mole was delicious, some of the best we've had. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that the beef in the tamales was in a huge lump, not shredded so it was very difficult to eat, even though it was tasty, and the refried beans were extremely liquid, to the point of needing a spoon to eat them. Otherwise we were very happy with finding this spot.
Puerta Vallarta is a wonderful dining experience. Great food, great service, and a wonderful selection. The chips and salsa are homemade and warm on chilly nights or at any time. We enjoyed the bean burrito, bean and beef burrito, and the langostino enchiladas. We recommend it for the family or for date night.
Really good authentic Mexican food. The quest dip is awesome. Try the taquitos.
We order from here all the time! The staff is very friendly, and the food is authentic. They serve excellent tamales and have great lunch specials. My wife always orders the shrimp fajitas and if you enjoy seafood, that would be my recommendation.
I've been going here since they first opened. They're consistently quick & friendly while being delicious! They've always gotten my order right. They only have a beer & wine license so if you're looking for an authentic margarita, you'll want to go elsewhere.
