We just left at 8:30 pm on a Thursday. It was our first time there so we didn’t know (and didn’t think to check) that it was only open til 8. If we would’ve known, we wouldn’t have went in but alas we were ignorant. Nonetheless we heard no grumbles from the staff, who served us in a friendly manner and did not try to rush us out. I loved the banana bread French toast, even though I couldn’t finish cause it was too much! My fiancé loved the burger and fries, meaning we have a good chance at being back!
It's a good diner for the downtown feel. If I had to sum it up, if you are in town for a while or live here it's definitely worth a trip, making a fun stop to eat in and enjoy some good food. If you are traveling through Sioux Falls however, I would urge you to eat elsewhere for a more local and better experience.
Had a dinner and a breakfast there during our stay in Sioux Falls. Server for dinner was great. Server at breakfast missed parts of the order, was not overly friendly, and only brought a second cup of coffee after a number of attempts to get her attention behind the counter
This fabulous little diner was the main reason I stopped through to Sioux Falls. I've heard a lot about it, and I was very pleased with my experience.
The menu is straight forward, and the coffee is great, which was a wonderful surprise considering the majority of diners have terrible coffee!
5 stars for great service even though we came in last minute and good food with reasonable price!
Amazingly friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. If you’re strolling downtown Sioux Falls you can’t miss this place. It’s a stand-alone diner separate from the rows of buildings. There’s no parking directly in front but it’s readily available a half block away. They have espresso drinks and they make a great Americano.
Highly recommended. Heard lunch menu is just as good!
The meal came incredibly quick, and it was delicious. The portion wasn't over the top, but was plenty enough to fill up on.
Food was good and the diner atmoshpere was nice. Prices seemed a little high for what you got. Portion sizes were fine...not too big or too small...just didn't see anything that made it stand out for the price.
Decor is on point, and the outside seating area is a great place to people watch the prime Phillips Ave crowd. Staff and food are good, with some great options inside. Probably one of the few places in town you can find poutine in Sioux Falls!
No wait on Sunday morning around 10am, with a choice of bar seating or booth.
The old downtown of the city has a few gems to visit after a full dining experience.
