Excellent quality. Excellent portions. The flavor is amazing! My friend got mariscada soup and it was huge! He let me try it and the broth is very flavorful. I got the Traditional Guatemalan Dish and there was a type of rice that I'd not had before, but I really liked it. The main dish is a soup and I wasn't expecting that, but it's flavorful. I think it had saffron in it. So good! Maybe next time, I'll come by just for dessert.
Better than average! Grew up eating authentic in California! This is just as real ! perfect! If you can’t deal with the authenticity of the food.... Keep your midwestern tastebuds at home with your hot dish
We are at the East 10th location. We do prefer the downtown location. The service here at East Arrest 10th is either really good or really horrible. We have had a lot of bad service experiences here. Today the service was awesome. The food is somewhat bland. The meat is not very well seasoned and you rely on the sauces served for the flavor. If you order more authentic Guatemalan dishes the flavor is much much better. But if you can't handle the flavor or the spice then the general chimichanga, burrito, and taco dishes are for you!
Good food but the waiter didn't seem to know the menu very well. Nice but a couple of them need to learn English better. Mexican type is restaurant but remember you're serving Americans
