AS first time Travel Trailer buyers we had numerous questions that Jeff answered and he never seemed annoyed at our lack of knowledge on owning a large travel trailer. In doing extensive research in the area within 100 miles, Spader had the best prices as well. We never were pressured into an "up-sell" situation where Jeff tried to sell us something that was above out intended budget. We LOVE our 2016 Trail Runner and are anxious to start making some great family memories with it and our three boys. Thank you Jeff and Tony!!
The sales team was very helpful and answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable about the products they sell, even personal experience. Very patient as I tried to make my decisions. The service department spent time with me prior to taking my unit home- made sure I understood everything that needed to be done. Very courteous with follow up questions after the sale. Would strongly recommend.
Sales man was insulting and obviously didn't want our sale. He told me I looked mad. I didn't realize that good sales involved commenting on my appearance.
Walked in the door with my wife and kids looked around the showroom for a few minutes and waited for someone to help us. Shortly behind us another little bit older couple walked in and was helped right away. I know we look young, but come on! Dealers shouldn't judge others ability to spend based on age. Walked out the door and no one seemed to care. RVs must be rolling out the door. Thought we'd try here since they were in town even if the prices are a bit higher here. Looks like we'll buy another NEW camper in MN again where the prices, selection, and service apparently is better.
There is a nice selection of inventory! The sales staff is knowledgeable and will help you find the camper that will suit all your needs. As an update, the reason for our trip to Spader's was because our camper needed repair. The guys there wanted us to believe our camper was a lost cause and they were being generous to offer us $1,000 for a trade in value. We left, obviously, because we were insulted both verbally and by their "offer". We took it to someone else in Harrisburg and had a completely different experience. Our camper is definitely still worth a substantial amount and to repair would be reasonable too. I would advise people to get second opinions if you've taken your camper to Spader's. We will never go back there, for anything.
