WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not trust them! They gave away our lease after a holding form was signed and didn't get back to us in months and took our deposit before us even signing a lease and won't give it back! They just ignore you and will never answer your phone calls. We never even lived there. I cannot imagine what it would be like if we did. I'm sure it'd be nothing short of TERRIBLE. Extremely unprofessional is an understatement. Do-not-do-it!
Worst service ever. The landlord was incredibly mean and deceitful when I had to leave. She told me I could leave a month early since she found someone else to rent it and I wouldn't have to worry about breaking the lease. That lady didn't even bother giving me a call or send me a letter or email, a month later I get a collections letter. Not only did she charge me for the last month but also cleaning although I had hired someone to clean it. And my deposit wasn't enough to cover the cleaning. So I end up owing rent plus cleaning and she didn't even tell me, but went above and beyond to send it to collections. I met a couple other people who she screwed over. What we all have in common? We aren't white. My white friends, they never had a problem with her. Beware to rent from them if you aren't white, especially be careful with Dorothy. When I called her and asked about this very respectfully, she yelled at me in a very unprofessional manner.
Tenant since 12/14 Dorothy has always been accommodating and helpful. I live in the Dakota Lofts downtown . No problems with unit and one appliance issue was taken care of quickly. Real Estate companies tend to take the brunt of unreasonable reviews and felt i would express i am a current tenant as of 1/13/2017 and have been happy with all aspects of my relationship with Legacy.
