I've lived here a few months. The staff were great, friendly, and prompt in reviewing my application. Never in my whole life has anyone vandalized my property. About a week after I moved in, a long piece of white tape was placed on my door loosely at an adults height. A week or so after that, I came outside to discover that my car had been vandalized and severely scratched on the hood of my car. They carved designs in it that were definitely caused by vandals. I reported it to the property manager and she brushed it off. A few days after that, someone had placed a dirty diaper next to my car and the sides of my car were scratched. My boyfriend (who is not on my lease bc he has his own place) that stays the night on occasion, also had his van scratched this time. At this time there were only two close friends, and immediate family members that knew were I lived. I'm not loud in my apartment, I'm 100% sober, and I'm polite and courteous to all my neighbors. I've dated a few guys that are not white and I'm 1/4 Native American myself...I'm definitely not racist. After moving here, I found out that these apartments are nicknamed "Little Africa." There's a white couple that lives above me and so far they've had their doormat stolen and they're cat (who's never ran away before) is missing. I don't know if this is a reverse-racial discrimination case or what. I called Murray Properties and left them a long voicemail. They never called me back. I purchased a garage for another $40/month but it's 1.5 blocks away outside a different building. I have to file a vandalism claim with my car insurance and pay a $500 deductible to get a new paint job for my car bc it's seriously bad. I wish there was a legal way to get out of my lease!! Don't move here unless you wanna buy security cameras for your vehichles and doorways!!

On another note, I was told there was recycling and trash bins for my building. There is only a trash bin outside my building. If you want to recycle items, you gotta walk 2 blocks away carrying your recyclables.
