Staff is nice but each person requires different documents. One person says bring ID and title. Ok, so I come in and that person says I need social security card, so I go home to get that, the next person says I need my wife's ID and social security card. On the forth time in I expected them to say they needed my first born child. Frustrating, time to do some training to make sure everyone knows what documents are required.
Pam Nelson and her crew could use a little Customer Service training for sure.
Do not even have call waiting to ask questions, ever time I'm there they have 5 people working and 30 walking around sitting at desk doing nothing, would love to know why I can't get my phone call answered, lazy state workers do the very minimum possible
Hands down the worst place to call in to. If you had to chose between wasting an afternoon calling an overseas cable customer service operator who doesn't speak any English or the Minnehaha County Treasurer you should go overseas. They could get more done in 20 min than the hour and fifty five minutes I had to wait to only get hung up on because they closed. Original call started at 2:50 pm and at 4:45 pm I was automatically disconnected. Why was I calling and willing to wait this long you ask? Well I paid my vehicle registration fees online in May and only received one of the two paid for. So not only did I get no service calling in the treasurers office screwed up my registration. It's a good thing we pay taxes for such terrible service. They want our money but couldn't care less about the residents time. Pathetic! Customer! Service!
The line moved reasonably quickly, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. There is no seating or waiting area which is very inconvenient since I had to bring my two children with me so they couldn't sit and read (if they fix this I'll bump this up to five stars). But the employee who helped us gave them suckers which was very nice. Compared to similar government agencies I've dealt with in UT, CA, and CO, this one is much nicer!
