Very said! Employees were awful. At 0700 there was zero coffee made. Then the employee at the register disappeared into the back room, forcing me and three other customers to wait for about 15 minutes for him to return. The subway employee eventuly went into the back room trying to find him. I would have left but I needed a receipt for the gas I pump. If your passing through I would skip this Loves Station.
Other than that, generic truck stop.
If I knew sooner I would of stay at flying J while coming from the west... Your value as a truck stop just dropped 3 points...
Not to bad. Old but nice people and very clean. On the plus side there's finally a truck wash at a Loves...
There showers are better, BUT they removed the washers and dryers without replacing them on the same day... WHAT MANAGER DOES THAT??? We as truck drivers depend on things like washers & dryers just as much as we depend on highway rest stops...
2 stars ONLY because diamond status for commercial drivers is the best in the business (that I'm aware of). Night manager needs some SERIOUS customer service work. 3 people (commercial drivers who are sometimes very much in a hurry....logbook) as he slowly wipes all the empty coffee makers. Young guy working register tells him there are people waiting.....he just replied "I know". Young guy starts making some in one machine to keep the customers from waiting longer.....manager tells him in a slightly disgusted way "I haven't cleaned that one yet". Customers seemed to be a BOTHER for this guy. Screw this place.... I'll keep going to Kwik trip. They would have apologized and given the coffee free for running out!
