Stopped in here with my coworkers, while in town for work. They had a good, but modest craft beer selection. I ordered the buffalo Mac n cheese and it was very delicious. The portion size was good with some leftovers to take back to the hotel. I would highly recommend anyone going through Sioux Falls to stop in.
Buy far my all time favorite place to eat in Sioux Falls!!! Great food!!! Great Atmosphere!!! And who could forget Great Staff!!!! I'm from out of town a ways but whenever we make it over this way it's a must stop and the bartenders remember a face and drink. . . . If you haven't tried it yet you're missing out!
The beer selection is huge and they offer some cool craft beers as well as a full bar with what seems like a large whisky/scotch selection (which I don't drink personally). It's fun to sit at the bar and have some food and drinks before going out downtown on the weekends. They've accommodated about 18 people for lunch before too and the service was still great.
This is one of my favorite places in town. Good selection of beer and creative drinks. Food is excellent, my favorite is the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Not something I would ordinarily order at a restaurant, but it's a must have here. Good service, have never been disappointed. Great for date night.
Sioux Falls was missing a place like this! I love beer and pizza like most people, but I'm not into pizza places full of kids so MacKenzie River is perfect.
If you're wondering what to eat, I can personally say that the MacKenzie River pizza with regular crust, the french onion soup, and the meatloaf are exceptional. I've also done the Rod and Reel combo for lunch a few times and got the caesar salad and small cheese pizza which was bomb.
Was greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly. Restaurant was well lit and the table "high top" was clean and comfortable to sit at. Ate the McKenzie Meatloaf for lunch. Food was tasty and the service was courteous. Definitely will return!
