We will probably go back and try again because we want to like this place. It’s got a good vibe and it’s a really cool place. Hopefully when we do go back we find that this was just one of those days.
A very nice bakery! Love their quiche and cookies. Everything is good there.
I’m REALLY weird about well done. Like, I couldn’t eat medium-rare if there was a gun to my head. Unfortunately I ordered well done here but got a pink burger, which again, I just couldn’t eat. Aside from that the staff were really polite, but we only saw our server twice; drinks and order, and check.
Bland blueberry with almond glaze scones. Dry dense sponge interior. You can't even tell it's blueberry if you close your eyes and try to savor it. Chocolate chip cookies are mediocre. They go for undercooked batter to achieve a softer texture. It's a soft cookie; it's not chewy as advertised. Peanut butter cookies are hard. I know some camps will say if you're going to drink coffee, you don't drink decaf, but it's nice to have that option for some people with health conditions or who are pregnant. No decaf coffee option; no way to tell until you're already ordering. Beautiful cafe space nonetheless.
Doesn't get better in Sioux Falls. For some a home away from home. I've been a fan for years and the owners are genuinely great people. Oh yeah baked goods and coffee are tops too
Great coffee shop! Good for business meetings, casual hangouts, and studying. Their pastries are good, but they don't serve donuts. The baristas are kind, and they offer free refills on a cup of coffee with a to-go cup when you're on your way out. The location is nice; the other shops in the area have a good atmosphere--very fancy!
This place was pretty awesome, I would probably give QC another chance but for now it’s a three.
